Mission Statement

To bring a fresh touch to the worship experience and touch the lives of the hearing and deaf alike through this beautifully visual ministry.

To introduce hearing people to the beauty of sign language worship and to open doors to reach the 250 million deaf people around the world who have not discovered our Lord.

Statement of Faith

We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible Word of God.

We believe in the Deity and virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ; that He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of the world, that He arose from the dead and ascended into heaven from whence He will return with power and glory.

Kathleen Klein-

Friendship with a deaf 12 year old child encouraged Kathleen, at age 25, to begin studying sign language.  College courses honed her skills and she added music to create a unique method of worship.  Kathleen worked with the Expressive Sign Group at The River of Life Church in Phoenix, Arizona for more than 5 years, performed on TBN and has done special performances at numerous church worship services, nursing homes, prisons and functions. 

Even though Kathleen is not hearing impaired nor is any of her family, God has given her the love of visual sign art to convey the meaning of worship songs.  Kathleen has taken some of the best loved Christian music and transformed it to exalt the LORD.

Hank Klein

 

A software developer and certified management consultant for many years, Hank now spends the majority of his time supporting the ministry and practicing the limited number of songs that he performs in duet with Kathleen. "Learning sign language for me has been like trying to chew gum and ride a bicycle backwards."

 

The Kleins live in north central Arkansas.

Silent Grace Ministries is a 501(c)(3) approved non-profit, non-denominational organization that is independent of any other organization or society. All donations are fully tax deductible. We are supported by churches and friends who share our vision to overcome the 'mystery' and 'strangeness' of sign language and to show that worship can be beautiful with or without the voice. Donations to this ministry are fully tax deductible.
