February 2007

Cancellations in January- Due to the passing of Kathleen’s mother we were forced to cancel our schedule for January.  The combined loss of her mom and her younger brother Dale, just 2 months earlier, would have been totally unbearable were it not for knowing they have been re-united at home with the Lord.  We sincerely thank all of you for your prayers and support during this time.

Praise- we traveled more than 3,000 miles during the 1st week of January including 2 runs of 1,300 miles in 24 hours each!! Our 1993 Blazer acted like a brand new vehicle and we know it was because of God’s touch in answer to your many prayers.

Finances- Because of the wonderful financial support we have received we are finally able to complete our application for non-profit status, (501(c)(3), with the I.R.S.  (The fee charged by the IRS for looking at the application is $750!!!)  Once this has been approved all donations made since our date of incorporation, August 2006, will be retroactively deductible for the donor.  We thank you for your patience and trust.

Board of Directors- We are in the final process of selecting our Board and will be announcing it officially very shortly.

New DVD- We are working on a new DVD for distribution at our appearances and as an introduction to our ministry.  In order to do this we have purchased copyright licenses to Midnight Cry and Amazing Grace. We also intend to include I Can Only Imagine and Peace in the Valley. Plans are for 8 songs with a mix of ‘old favorites hymns’ and ‘quiet contemporary worship’.  If you would like a copy of our current  demo DVD please let us know… they’re free for the asking and include 4 songs.

February- This month we are scheduled to sign at several church worship services and gospel sings. We are also looking forward to signing at the Christmas Child luncheon that will be attended by more than 100 people who were involved with the collection of Christmas Shoeboxes and represent numerous churches in the area.  Our schedule includes our first appearance at a civic organization that is not affiliated with a church and we look forward to this opportunity to share the gospel and to express the peace and love that can only be gotten through a relationship with our Lord.

If you would like us to appear at your church or organization please contact us as soon as possible.  Our Sundays usually fill fast and we have much more flexibility on weekdays and in the evenings.

Workshops- Kathleen will be re-starting the workshops again this month.  If you are interested in attending and learning Sign Language for Worship please contact us for start dates, locations and times.

Mailing List- If you would like to be dropped from our mailing list or would like us to add someone PLEASE mail the enclosed card or call.

We welcome your prayers, concerns and ideas about how we can better improve our communication and our ministry.
